Celebrating AANHPI month, author Elaine Castillo will be at Civic Center Library to read from her latest book Moderation and engage in a conversation about her writing journey. There will be time following the presentation for an audience Q&A as well as a book signing. Books will be available for purchase at the event from Towne Center Books.
Elaine Castillo, named one of “30 of the Planet’s Most Exciting Young People” by the Financial Times, was born and raised in the Bay Area. Her most recent book is the novel Moderation, which Kirkus Reviews called “brilliant” in a starred review, and Publishers Weekly praised as “a triumph.” She is also the author of How to Read Now, about the politics and ethics of our reading culture.
